New Work, New Toy Camera (Mini Diana)

While in Charleston this past weekend, I somehow ended up at Urban Outfitters (go figure) and stumbled upon the Mini Diana. So I bought it and three rolls of film. We had really cloudy weather, light rain all weekend so I had to buy ASA 800 color print film. What a fun little guy!

I think I'm back to film finally! This little jewel is now my favorite camera and I won't be anywhere with one! If you don't have one. Buy it.

Below are some selected pics I couldn't wait to share. I hope you like them as much as I do ... let me know what you think. These are toned scans off the one-hour processing disc--a few of them, soon to be prints for sale. Stay tuned on that!

Middleton Place Plantation, Charleston, SC

We took a little road trip to Charleston over the weekend. Took the Argus Bean and my new Mini Diana on a hike around the plantation. What a nice day we had to enjoy and to make some images. Thought I would share a few with you. If you ever get to Charleston, take a half day and tour one of the plantations--it'll be worth you time. All images shot at Middleton Place Plantation.

My favorite place to be ... Charleston, SC

Recently, we were able to slip away to Charleston for a few days, it's our favorite place to be and go to unwind. I borrowed Boxfoto's new FLIP (B-Day present) and gave it a try. Early on this blog it was a goal of mine to produce mini movies ... I need to explore that again ... anyway, here's a clip. Enjoy!
