Seagull @ Mainsail Arts Festival

Polaroid 600, (c) Matt Larson, 2008

Went to St. Pete to attend the Mainsail Arts Festival this weekend. CONGRATULATIONS to our many FRIENDS that won some prize money! Walking back to the car, I looked up and saw this bird circling above and snapped this shot. Not bad for a Polaroid! I actually like the composition a lot--the three elements of the seagull, tree and cloud. I even like the rim light on the seagull's upper wing and the cropping of the lower one. Serendipity is a good thing. I'll take it.

Hey Matt,
I visited Mainsail this weekend and never saw you, or that seagull.
I was too busy dodging small dogs and big bellied beer drinkers.

... that's the magic of Polaroid and a little luck too on the composition--specially since it was a blind point-and-shoot. Thanks for leaving a comment.
